Inaugural Par 3 Masters Pitch & Putt Tournament concluded successfully at the NORECO Golf Course, New Delhi, marking a significant step forward for the growth of the sport in India. Curated by Can and Able Entertainment, the event introduced the innovative & accessible Par 3 format to the capital and attracted golfers, diplomats, bureaucrats and sports enthusiasts.


Highlights of the tournament was the participation of nearly 25 diplomats, including ambassadors from several countries, alongside senior Indian bureaucrats, making it one of the most distinguished Pitch & Putt events held in India. A total of 56 golfers competed on the scenic 9-hole course.


Played in the unique format, participants were restricted to using only three clubs, including a putter, across holes ranging between 50 and 100 yards. The format emphasized precision, strategy and skill while making the game more engaging and accessible for players of all levels.


Event also marked the formal introduction of the Indian Pitch and Putt Association (IPPA), recognized by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Association (FIPPA). IPPA Chairman S.K. Sharma, IPS, Chief Patron Puneet Singh, and Founder President Munish Arora highlighted the sport’s growing popularity and its potential to promote inclusive golf at the grassroots level.


In the competition, Siddhant Jain won the Men’s title, while Anders Palmagren finished runner-up. Fariha Abdullah won the Women’s category, with Juxian Hesselmann as runner-up. Former cricketer Nikhil Chopra won the “Nearest to the Pin” contest. The evening concluded with a vibrant Sufi qawwali performance celebrating sport and culture.
